business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) marketers
to see what are some of the more successful tactics that they are
seeing work on Facebook.
One thing is quite apparent is that tactics that work for the B2B
market will not necessarily work for those marketers who are
targeting the B2C market.
For those in the B2B space, the most successful marketing tactics

New comScore figures report Gmail,
the web mail service provided by Google, is now the third-largest
in the US. In July, it eclipsed AOL Email with 37 million unique
visitors to the latter’s 36.4 million. The second-most popular,
Windows Live Hotmail, had 47 million visitors the same month,

You’ve worked hard to build
up your brand and maintain your online reputation. One day

vastly more important ways…absolutely. Online video, or commercials
if you insist, are not limited to time because the Internet
doesn’t charge for broadcasting. In other words, unlike print
advertising, radio, outdoor, TV, or direct mail, there is no charge
for distribution…no matter the length in time, or column inches,
nor the number of repeat viewings or printing necessary to
effectively deliver your message.
Let’s let that sink in a minute.

Develop
a plan. To get started on your social media marketing and
optimization program, develop a strategic plan. The first step is
to conduct an audit of your current presence (as compared with your
top competitors) on search engines and social media sites.
Determine where you are and where you need to be.
Ideally, develop a crisis management plan in advance that will
address any negative ratings, reviews, or comments. Once you have
an idea of where you are, develop a cheat sheet to...
