Between all the newsletter subscriptions, trial offers, white paper downloads, and just daily web browsing that comes with working for a huge web portal, I’ve built a wonderfully robust stream of daily email spam. Fortunately, 99% gets routed to my junk box to which I empty about once per week, but buried within the “get your degree”, “enlarge your you-know-what”, and “you’ve won an inheritance” emails, I came across this gem. It caught my attention with its intro sentence of “I discovered your email through internet search”. I couldn’t help but appreciate the amount of work that went into the email just to get a response and lead some poor soul down the path of some sort of money scam or who-knows what. Here’s the email for your reading pleasure and it should go without stating, but I highly advise you not to follow up on the email address below. I’ve only kept it in to demonstrate what some of these scammer emails look like and to be sure to delete these and others that come your way.
